How it works

A clear journey, one step at a time

Here is everything Our Sandook does today, and what is still being prepared. We label each step honestly so you know what to expect.

1. Create your free account

Available now

Sign up with your name, email and a password. In the configured service we send a link to confirm your email address. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings.

2. Build your preparation plan

Available now

Your dashboard shows a short readiness checklist and one recommended next step. Add your profile, up to 2 emergency contacts on the free plan, references to important documents, personal wishes and private letter drafts.

3. Review what you have recorded

Available now

Mark each document reference as reviewed, set a date to check it again, and come back after life changes such as a marriage, a move or a new job. Practical guides help you decide what to record.

4. Get guided help if you would like it

By request

Request a one-to-one guided session (₹499) about documents, letters, digital storage, family access or testing your plan. We contact you to agree a time and share payment details. No booking is confirmed, and nothing is charged, until we have agreed it with you.

5. Keep weekly check-ins (letter safekeeping)

Early access

Subscribers confirm they are okay once a week, starting each Sunday (India time by default), and keep up to 5 nominated contacts who have agreed to be contacted. Check-ins work today. Reminders to you and, after 4 consecutive missed weeks, a neutral message asking your contacts to check on you switch on once our messaging service is connected.

6. Human-reviewed release of chosen letters (letter safekeeping)

Opening soon

Switched on only after every safeguard is in place. Until then no letter is released. When it is on: if a death is reported, a reviewer opens a case, asks for evidence through a secure process and records every decision. Only letters you marked for a named recipient can be considered, and only after the case is approved and the recipient's identity is verified. The account holder signing in or checking in disputes the case automatically.

Future: letters for serious illness or incapacity

Under consideration — not available

We are exploring whether some letters could be released during a serious illness or incapacity. This is not available and we are not taking payment for it. A relative's claim, a diagnosis, a hospital admission or missed check-ins would never be enough on their own. It will only be considered after legal, security and verification reviews.
